History
How it all began...
The origin of Game Traders Club traces back to the early 90s when Todd Lippi, a seasoned expert, recognized the perfect opportunity: to sell pre-owned video games at a discounted price to the highly enthusiastic gaming community.
This venture started at various flea markets, first starting with Saturday's Flea Market in Middletown, PA, and the Silver Springs Flea Market in Mechanicsburg, PA. Customers at these markets were thrilled to finally have a place to exchange and sell games they no longer used, as no other local businesses provided this innovative buy/sell/trade option. Gradually, our collection of new video games expanded and was integrated into our existing "used only" stock. This promoted even more trading and offered gamers new games at an affordable price. Subsequently, a physical store was launched to extend business hours and enhance convenience for gaming enthusiasts.
At our Annville, PA Store, we introduced other new product lines such as music CDs, movie videos, and DVDs. Moreover, a rental program was established to provide customers with an affordable means to enjoy a variety of games and movies. Due to the store's rapid growth, we relocated twice to larger spaces; this growth trend continues to this day! In the Fall of 2023, to keep up with our large inventory and demand—we moved once more, to a larger location in the the Lebanon Valley Mall in Lebanon, PA.
Recently, we have begun hosting gaming tournaments as a laid-back, fun addition for our customers to win generous and updated prizes! Two new busy markets on Wednesdays and Weekends (Saturday and Sunday) were acquired to further ensure the Game Traders Club's promise: to continuously offer only the best inventory of new/used games and DVDs to all customers at affordable prices! Recently, video game consoles and all fun-related RENTING/RTO has been added to our wide menu of services.
